THE REFINED PRO. The technical cork made from micro-agglomerate. The special coating ensures optimized technical sealing to protect the wine from any "off-flavors". Through a systematic approach using hydrodistillation, the potentially released TCA can be reduced to < 1ng/l. Trouble-free processing is ensured.

GUARANTEED RELIABILITY. Our innovative CARAT+ corks are made from controlled cork material optimised with microspheres, which ensure outstanding elasticity of the cork after insertion. The microagglomerate is subjected to an environmentally friendly cleaning process (multiple steam treatment) to ensure that 2,4,6 TCA (cork taint) and other undesirable aromas are reliably extracted. The outstanding homogeneity of CARAT+ results in an optimum seal and uniform development of your wine in every single bottle, guaranteed over a period of many years*.

THE MATURE. Is the new premium version of the CARAT series – developed for wines that are given time to unfold their full potential. Thanks to its precisely balanced microagglomerate structure and a natural cork content of more than 75%, the CARAT X combines the elasticity of a classic natural cork with the advantages of modern microagglomerated corks. The controlled origin of the cork material and the targeted sterilization and deodorization technology ensure high sensory purity. At the same time, the particularly low OTR rate enables a consistent oxygen supply, ensuring harmonious, long-lasting maturation – a cork that inspires confidence and accompanies wines meant to endure.
